Consumers knew little about Google's smart phone operating system. Our challenge was to educate them about Android through an in-store physical and digital experience.
We created a story consumers could relate to and a strong theme to tie the brands and experiences together. Consumers could experience the brand `hands on' engaging all 5 senses using innovative technologies.
We worked with Google Australia and Singapore to bring this concept to life which included a complete takeover of Telstra’s second floor for 3+ months, interactive windows, interactive spaceship zone featuring a Google Earth flight simulator, Androidify station, a fairground game , customised Android merchandise and much more.
The pop up store inside Telstra’s Melbourne flagship was a huge success, attracting thousands of Android and Google fans over 3 months and prompting its very own wikipedia page.
